Abstract

Rad prikazuje položaj institucije braka kroz vodeće religije svijeta. Prvenstveno se ističu bitne karakteristike svake od pojedinačnih religija, a potom i njihov pogled na brak kao takav. Konkretno, postoje li i koji su preduvjeti sklapanja braka, zahtjeva li se zaseban obred, kakve uvjete je potrebno zadovoljiti i ostalo. Naravno, neophodno se dotiče i pitanja prekida bračne zajednice. Različito je shvaćanje razvoda/rastave kod monoteističkih religija u odnosu na politeističke. Navedeno, dakako, ne podrazumijeva da sve monoteističke religije dijele isto shvaćanje ove životne prekretnice, a isto vrijedi i za istočne religije obuhvaćene radom. Konačni je cilj rada izdvojiti zasebnosti te donijeti jasan i konkretan zaključak kao podlogu daljnjemu istraživanju.

Abstract (english)

The paper shows the position of the institution of marriage in the leading world religions. It first examines the essential characteristics of the individual religions and then their view of marriage as such. Specifically, it looks at whether and what requirements exist for marriage, whether a separate ceremony is required, what conditions must be met, etc. Of course, this also involves the question of dissolving the marriage bond. In monotheistic religions there is a different understanding of divorce/separation than in polytheistic religions. Of course, the above does not mean that all monotheistic religions share the same understanding of this stage of life, and the same applies to the Eastern religions included in the work. The ultimate aim of the paper is to identify the specifics and draw a clear and concrete conclusion as a basis for further research.
